Visitors walk past a marble votive statue of a girl holding a hare (circa 320 BC) at the re-opened Archaeological Museum of Vravrona (Brauon), 50 km east of Athens. The renovated museum re-opened in August 2009 at the archaeological site, which, during Classical Antiquity, was considered a place of worship for Vravrona (Brauon) Artemis, the mythical goddess of nature and fertility. |
